Apparently a cactus can rot. Don't tell my roommate, but her favorite cactus's head fell off in the middle of the night. Shortly thereafter, an applesauce fell out of my fridge and made a similar liquid mess on the floor. Figures.

What do I see while enjoying a cup of tea? Some snow, a lovely lady, and stairs . . . brightly.

When three grad students with different schedules, work styles, and personalities share an office, it can get a little tense at times. I infamously snapped at my office mate the other day, "I'm not in the mood, Nick!" A few days later, this screenprinted poster by Bert showed up. I thought it the perfect opportunity to make the office mantra known. 

(You know, like "think," but for designers named Tank (i.e., me).)

Not yet available at www.emergentidentity.com (MFA thesis portal!), but definitely a fragment of what I'm working on, here are some mood boards and sketches for work I intended to do at the end of March–early April.

The backside of some images I cut out to make a mood/style board were almost more interesting than the side I intended to use. Also, I got an inside look at the slide portion of the scanner. Pretty sweet.

From cars, to people, to military tactics– we can see the swarm coming. 

What can you do with some food coloring, an ice cube tray, and Minnesota winter weather? Make pixel-perfect imagery in the snow, of course!
